Moon cakes

We ate moon cake from all the places. Some traditional one. Some are created for the modern world. Lets see....

Bakerzinn (Mao Shang Wang Durian MoonCake)
I dont really like to eat durian on something else, but durian itself, but I bought this to try out when groupon have the promotion, selling for $49 for a box of 8 instead of the usual price at $79, and it come with a lovely box and a bag. To my surprise, its really NICE... if I have 4 thumbs, it will be a 4 thumbs up.

The Cookie Musuem
This is the first time I bought mooncake from cookie musuem, I know their cookies is unique and nice in any other way, but the mooncake look just too pretty to ignore, It come with 4 favors (seaseme with white choclate, Lotus, passionfruits with mango and durian)

The lotus paste

seseme with white chocolate

The Durian paste

Passionfruits with Mango

Miam Miam @ Bugis Junction

Souffle Au Curry ($15.50)
Its a big foams of creamy puff on the top that taste like a puffy shepherd pie. In it, its baked rice with Japanese Curry. And a little mix with pork sausage and beef as well as broccoli.

The Seafood Tomato Cream Spegetti ($16.80)
The taste of the tomato is not strong, but very creamy taste, spegetti is very Q and the whole blend in nicely.

The Miam Miam Spaghetti ($15.80)
Its a dry Spaghetti, taste like Alio Aglio, the blend in of the eye york, makes the Speg taste lovely.

The Original Pancake (free when used DBS card to billed)
Its a very thick piece of pancake, I like it cos its not dry, some pancake tends to be very dry and needed the syrup desperately. But this pancake was just nice. The waiting time of this pancake will take about 10 -15min. If you are not ready to have them, the staffs would give to some other customer first and bake another when we are ready to have them. I find it perfect so that the pancake come warm and not cold.

Miam Miam Haze ($6.80)
Its Earl Grey tea, very nice smell, not very strong. Not something special.
