Traditional

Dont we all love our traditional.  But hate losing it? And the price we are getting before have gone...

Used to eat the pong piah with milk, with the crispy biscuit and sweet milk just make everything seem perfect. $1.20 per pc

The peanut roll is not so sweet. The mix taste of the peanut and seasame is just a perfect match. Very yummy... $1.00 per roll

The traditional toasted bread with butter and sugar or Kaya is just what my childhood fav.

This is the best "xiang Ping" that I had, bought it from Penang, and the one and only brand which is in Penang.

Water chestnut cake. How traditional can this be? I believe since the Tang Dynasty.. Its how amazing this water chestnut can help u feel so refreshing after tasting it. It mustnt be too sweet or too bland. And this is simply just nice (from 记得吃)

The rainbow kuey, Its not difficult to find one of this childhood kuey, but not sure how easy can it be as well. Need to go to those very traditional shop to buy them, used to eat it slice by slice, Taste simply wonderful

The taste of water chestnut and combination of the crispy biscuit is just so nice.

Almond paste is totally refreshing, plus my fav glutinous ball with seasame and peanut is fantastic. Abit too sweet for people who doesnt have sweet tooth.

All time fav of most people, have 2 different taste which come with sweet or salty, for myself I always have sweet tooth and prefer something sweet.

Its not easy to find BBQ sweet potato in Singapore. Saw this when I visited Penang. Its amazing how tasty can this be especially if the weather is extremely cold. Of cos, Penang is not that cold, But try one when u visit Genting... a little coldness and heat sweet in the tastebud just makes them combine wonderfully.

I always love everything that is crispy, and I believe most of the people does. With the chicken meat in this crispy bun, just wants u to eat more. It always come with pork. which is nice too
The traditional set with toasted bread, egg and kopi, will just make our breakfast wonderful. The toasted bread must be just nicely toasted to give a taste of cripsyness plus my fav sugar and butter. The eggs must not over cooked and adding some soya sauce and pepper is just great, plus a super nice Kopi C will be heaven

This is new to me, but definitely not new to most people. Lotus paste biscuit. Yum yum

The favourite chocolate chip ice cream in between the biscuit. How traditional can this be? It also come with cone, or with bread. Now we can only see this on a push cart with motorcycle. $1 where I bought them.

Ice Kachang

the all time favourite of Ice Kachang.... yum yum
